This is a compile of the MIT sources for liboldX.a. I don't think I had to do any hacking at all; it's pretty much just as I got it from export.lcs.mit.edu. This code is hence governed by the same copyright as covers the rest of the X distribution; for details, either email me or check on export. For some reason liboldX.a wasn't included in the SLS distribution I got (1.0, I believe). You can either use the .a file in the directory, or, if you'd like, recompile it. You might want to run xmkmf before recompiling, as your setup might be different enough from mine that you might not want to use my Makefile. Programs that use liboldX.a are fairly rare, but some of them are dear to my heart, for instance, xsol and the old pre-xboard gnuchess X interface. Comments to mrhoten@cs.stanford.edu.
