Begin3 Title: xpequ Version: 0.1 Entered-date: 2007-04-28 Description: command line utility is a programmable comb filter to remove hum from wave files. Frequency is programmable. This filter will also remove any harmonics of the selected frequency. Code is based on humfilt by Paul Nicholson paul@abelian.demon.co.uk, you can find it here: http://www.abelian.demon.co.uk/humfilt/ I merely added some command line options and wave file support, and removed the OSS soundcard interface. The program only works with mono files, but you could split a stereo file and apply humfilter to both channels seperately, and then recombine the channels with for example multimux. Documentation is not complete yet. 0.1: First release.
