If you grab a pre-compiled binary you may also wish
to pick up a copy of the "lynx.cfg" file.  The "lynx.cfg"
file allows system wide configuration of Lynx and 
performs printer setups.  Make sure you use "binary" mode
when downloading the executables.  

On UNIX systems after you have got a Lynx Executable use:
"uncompress [Name of the Executable]"
and then:
"chmod 755 [Name of the Executable]" 
to make it runnable

The UNIX executables here have been compiled with debugging information.
If you wish a smaller binary, run the UNIX utility 'strip' on the 
uncompressed executable. ("strip EXECUTABLE_NAME")

The files lynx_help_files.tar.Z and lynx_help_files.zip contain
the default help files for Lynx.  They are not required unless
you wish to have a local copy of the Lynx documentation.
